At Man’s Best Friend Dog Training, we know how important it is to have peace of mind when you’re away from your furry friend. That’s why our boarding services are designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment where your dog can relax and enjoy their stay. Whether you’re traveling for work or taking a well-deserved vacation, you can trust us to care for your dog like one of our own.

Home-Like Environment:
We’re not a traditional kennel. Our boarding facility is designed to feel like a home away from home, providing your dog with a cozy, stress-free environment. We believe that your dog’s comfort is key, so we offer a more personalized experience than you’ll find at larger kennels.
Supervised Playtime:
Your dog will enjoy plenty of supervised playtime, whether it’s romping around with other friendly dogs in group play or having some solo fun with one of our team members. We make sure every dog gets the attention and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy during their stay.
Personalized Attention:
Since we’re a lower-volume facility, your dog will receive the individual care they deserve. We get to know each dog’s personality, preferences, and needs, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience with us.
Boarding Rates
- Regular Boarding: $61 per night
Includes a comfortable sleeping area, supervised playtime, and plenty of love and attention from our team.
Add-On Services
Make your dog’s stay even more enjoyable with our range of add-on services:
- Individual Walks: $20 for a 45-minute walk
Perfect for dogs who love to explore the great outdoors. We’ll take your dog on a leisurely walk, giving them plenty of time to sniff, stretch, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the local area. - Individual Playtime: $20 for a 45-minute session
Whether it’s playing fetch with a ball, tossing a frisbee, or engaging in a game specified by you, we’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of one-on-one fun. - Baths: $35 for dogs under 45 lbs, $60 for dogs over 45 lbs
Complimentary for stays of 4 nights or more. We’ll make sure your dog goes home looking and smelling their best. - Additional Services: $10 per day
This includes extra feedings, medication administration, or any special food preparation that isn’t regular kibble or prepared ahead of time per meal.
Health Requirements
For the safety and well-being of all our guests, we require that all dogs staying with us are up to date on the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
- Bordetella
Please bring a copy of your dog’s vaccination records when you drop them off, or have your vet send them to us in advance.
Comfort & Safety First
Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have outdoor kennels for fresh air and playtime, but your dog will also enjoy plenty of time indoors, where they can relax in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. Whether your dog loves to socialize or prefers some quiet time alone, we’ll make sure they feel right at home.
Reservations
Boarding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and our spaces do fill up quickly, especially during holidays. We recommend booking your dog’s stay as early as possible to ensure availability.
Shuttle Service (Currently on Hold)
For our clients coming from further afield, we typically offer a shuttle service to and from the San Francisco/Oakland area. While this service is currently on hold, we’re happy to discuss future arrangements and keep you informed of any updates.
